Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 June 2026. These terms govern the use of airambulancedhakabangkok.com and the air ambulance coordination services provided by Air Ambulance Dhaka to Bangkok. By contacting us or using this website you agree to these terms.

1. Our Service

What Service Do We Provide?

Air Ambulance Dhaka to Bangkok is a medical coordination service. We arrange ICU air ambulance flights, commercial medical escorts, ground ambulance transfers and end-to-end bed-to-bed patient transfers from Dhaka, Bangladesh to hospitals in Bangkok, Thailand (most often Bumrungrad International Hospital). We do not operate aircraft directly; flights are operated by licensed air operators under our medical coordination.

2. Free Assessment

Is the Case Assessment Really Free?

Yes. The initial clinical and logistical assessment of a patient is provided at no cost and with no obligation. We use the assessment to recommend the safest transfer option and to provide an indicative quotation. We never charge a fee simply for evaluating a case.

3. Quotations and Pricing

How Are Quotations and Prices Determined?

Written quotations are all-inclusive, covering the aircraft, medical crew, ICU equipment, ground ambulances at both ends and our coordination fee. Quotation validity is stated on each quotation; after the validity date we may revise the price if aircraft availability, fuel cost, or medical requirements change. The final invoice reflects the services actually delivered and any changes agreed in writing.

4. Acceptance and Confirmation

How Is a Booking Confirmed?

A booking is confirmed once we receive written acceptance of the quotation (by email, WhatsApp or signed letter) and receipt of the agreed deposit or full payment as stated in the quotation. Mobilisation of the aircraft, crew and permits begins only after confirmation.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

What Is the Cancellation Policy?

If you cancel before any aircraft has been positioned or any permit has been applied for, we refund the deposit less any non-recoverable costs already incurred (typically nominal). Once the aircraft has been positioned or permits applied, cancellation fees reflect the actual committed costs. We will always provide a clear written breakdown of any cancellation charge.

6. Fit to Fly

What Does Fit to Fly Mean?

The patient's treating physician must confirm in writing that the patient is clinically fit to undertake the transfer on the agreed date with the agreed medical support. If the patient's condition changes after confirmation, we may recommend postponement or a different transfer type; we will never fly a patient whose condition we believe cannot be safely managed on board.

7. Permits and Clearances

Who Is Responsible for Flight Permits?

We handle all Bangladesh and Thailand overflight, landing and immigration permits on your behalf. Permit processing times are outside our direct control. We will keep you informed and will not charge extra if a permit delay causes additional positioning cost, provided you have not changed the destination or date.

8. Insurance

How Does Insurance Interact With Our Service?

Many travel and medical insurance policies cover air ambulance evacuation. We can assist you with documentation, medical reports and insurer correspondence. Insurance reimbursement is between you and your insurer; our invoice is payable on the standard terms regardless of insurance outcome.

9. Limitation of Liability

What Is the Limit of Our Liability?

We coordinate the transfer with due professional care. Liability for the safe operation of the aircraft rests with the operating carrier under their own terms and aviation insurance. Our aggregate liability for the coordination service is limited to the coordination fee invoiced for the affected transfer, except where law disallows such a limitation.

10. Confidentiality

How Do We Handle Medical Confidentiality?

All patient information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable medical confidentiality standards. Information is shared only with the medical crew, receiving hospital and authorities on a strict need-to-know basis.

11. Force Majeure

What Happens in a Force Majeure Event?

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, airport closure, airspace restriction, pandemic-related travel ban, political instability, natural disaster, or industrial action. In such cases we work to re-route or postpone the transfer with minimum additional cost to you.

12. Governing Law

Which Law Governs These Terms?

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of the patient's country of residence.

13. Complaints

How Can You Raise a Complaint?

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@airambulancedhakabangkok.com or call 01716-960770. We acknowledge complaints within twenty-four hours and aim to resolve them within seven days. If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, we will explain the further options available to you.
